OnePlus fans, just hold on your horses as your favourite smartphone manufacturing company is all set to launch its latest version, OnePlus 6 in May. Yes, you read that right. If media reports are anything to go by, the upcoming OnePlus flagship will be launched during mid-May, probably on May 18. However, there has been no confirmation from the makers.
Alongside the tentative launch date, reports also reveal the price of OnePlus 6, which is expected to start from Rs 34,000. The one with 64GB storage will be priced at Rs 34,000, while the high-end version with 128GB internal storage will cost around Rs 39,000. These all details are tentative.
OnePlus has been teasing its fans with small sneak peek videos. From the last week video, we came to know that the upcoming smartphone will be water resistant. To explain the capability, the company took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share a clip with caption: ''Don't you just hate it when you have to stop using your phone when it rains? So do we.''
Another teaser suggested that the smartphone will also be available in Coral Blue and can be purchased from Amazon India. OnePlus also announced a strategic partnership with Marvel Studios to mark its 10th anniversary with the superhero film, Avengers: Infinity War. ''Late 2017, we became one with the force. And now we’ve decided to take our partnership with @Disney to the next level. This April, we come face to face with infinite power and the war that will decide the fate of our universe. See you in theaters on April 27,'' the company tweeted.
So far, among its other specifications, we know that OnePlus 6 will be powered by new Snapdragon 845 chip and will have dual camera system (16MP f1.7 + 20MP f1.7).
