Nokia teases a new phone ahead of India launch on June 6
Nokia has teased the launch of a new smartphone ahead of its official launch in India that is scheduled on 6th June 2019. The tweet says ‘See things in a new light’ along with the date along with #GetAhead. The tweet shows a teaser video that showcases the camera.

Nokia has posted the teaser on both Nokia Mobile India and Nokia Mobile global Twitter handles. The company has scheduled the event in Italy on the same day, which suggests that this could be a new smartphone from the company.
Rumours suggest that this could be the Nokia 2.2 which might be the Android Go smartphone. The Nokia 2.2 codenamed Nokia Wasp is a successor to the last year’s Nokia 2.1 that is said to come with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
HMD Global is still expected to launch the Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia Plus along with the Nokia 210 feature phone in India, but it's still not clear if these phones are scheduled for India launch. The company just might launch the Nokia 6.2 which is said to be the global version of Nokia X71 that was introduced in China and Taiwan last month.
