HMD Global showcased the Nokia 9 PureView at the MWC 2019 event. The main highlight of the phone is the Penta cameras at the back that include a 12 Megapixel Penta rear camera along with two RGB and three monochrome lenses that collect up to 10-times the light compared to a normal sensor with ZEISS Optics. The Nokia 9 PureView will be available in the US starting from 3rd March.
With inclusive of the introductory offer, the company will offer a special limited offer where the Nokia 9 will cost $599 (Rs 42,432 approx.) after getting $100 discount off on $699 (Rs. 49,650 approx) for a week. This offer will run between 3rd March to 10th March, followed with which the price will go up to $699.
The Nokia 9 PureView captures HDR shots via five cameras together with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range. It also gets a full scene 12 Megapixel depth mapping that combines together into one 12 Megapixel photo with outstanding dynamic range and depth of field to refocus later.
The camera is capable of shooting 60MP images in burst mode and can process up to 240 megapixels of data. The camera unit of the phone can capture images in an uncompressed RAW “DNG” format and edit directly with Adobe Lightroom and Native black-and-white photography on the phone.
On the front is a 20MP camera that comes with a 5.99 inch Quad HD pOLED display with HDR10 support and Corning Gorilla Glass protection 5 both on the front and back. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB RAM that also gets an in-display fingerprint scanner with IP67 ratings. The phone houses a 3320mAh battery with support for fast charging and Qi wireless charging.
