HMD Global had launched the Nokia 8.1 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage last month at Rs 26,999. Now the company has launched a new variant of the Nokia 8.1 which features 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Other specs of the phone remain the same. The Nokia 8.1 is a successor to Nokia 7 Plus that comes powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor.

Nokia 8.1 specifications
The Nokia 8.1 comes with a 6.18-inch (2246 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Pure display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio, including 500 nits brightness with 96 per cent NTSC Color gamut, DCI-P3 and 1500:1 Contrast ratio. The phone comes gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU. It now comes in two configurations of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage / 6GB RAM with 128GB storage that can be expanded to 400GB using a microSD card. It gets Hybrid Dual SIM technology and comes runs on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The phone comes with a 12 Megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, backed with 1/2.55″ Sony IMX363 sensor with f/1.8 aperture paired with a 13 Megapixel secondary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and ZEISS optics. Towards the front would be the 20 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for videos calls and selfies. It comes with a rear Fingerprint sensor and measures 154.8 x 75.76 x 7.97 mm in dimensions, weighing at 180 grams. The phone gets a 3500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and gets a 6 series aluminium-magnesium alloy frame with glass back. The phone gets Nokia OZO Stereo Audio recording and has 3.5mm audio jack.
The Nokia 8.1 6GB RAM+128GB version will be available in Blue/Silver and Iron/Steel colours and will be available from Nokia online and offline stores.
