HMD Global is just a day away from unveiling the new Nokia 7.1 Plus. The device is set to reveal under the Nokia X7 moniker for China on 16th October and the official posters have been revealed of the new device.
Looking at the previous phones, the Nokia X7 or the Nokia 7.1 Plus would come with an edge to edge display and a notch. The bottom chin of the phone comes with the Nokia logo and is expected to come with a power and volume controllers on the right.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nokia 7.1 Plus could be HMD Globals most powerful mid-range smartphone. The Nokia 7.1 Plus could come powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC, backed by 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that could be expandable to 400GB, using a microSD card. Rumours suggest that the phone could come with a 6.18-inch LCD screen with a 2246×1080 resolution. The Nokia 7.1 Plus could be shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo with a custome skin in China, whereas the global version would come with a pure version of Android. There is a possibility that Nokia could ship it with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
For the camera, Nokia 7.1 Plus could come with Zeiss-branded optics and is tipped to feature a 12MP+13MP dual main shooter at the back, while on the front would be the 20 Megapixel sensor. It is said to house a 3,500mAh battery and could sell for 2699 Yuan in China (Rs 28825 approx.)
