Nokia 7.1 Plus image leaks before the October 4 event

HMD Global, the company with Nokia brand licence, has sent out media invites for the event to be held in central London on October 4. The company is expected to showcase a new smartphone at the event that could be called Nokia 7.1 Plus or Nokia X7. The phone has been making news for quite a while and recent leaks point the Nokia 7.1 Plus design.

The event will be hosted in central London at 5 PM i.e (9:30 PM IST). Note that there have been many renders in the past of Nokia 7.1 Plus that were leaked by Indian blog MySmartPrice, which shows the display notch upfront, other than the rear dual camera setup.

The leaked renders suggest that the Nokia 7.1 Plus will feature a similar Nokia 6.1 Plus design and might come with a 19:9 display with a full-HD+ 1080x2280 pixel resolution. The Nokia 7.1 Plus specifications might include a Carl Zeiss optics and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Other renders hint to a possible use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC in the Nokia 7.1 Plus.

There have been other leaks too previously that pointed to the upcoming Nokia X7 or Nokia 7.1 Plus without a notch. We will have to wait and watch till the event really takes place, where the phone could be launched.
