Nokia 3 (2017) will start receiving the Android 9 Pie update around the world, which means that Nokia 3 has received two major Android software updates. Juho Sarvikas, the HMD Global chief announced the Android Pie update for the two-year-old Nokia 3 smartphone on Twitter.

The phone was launched with Android Nougat, which later got Android 8.0 Oreo in April 2018 and will now be receiving Android 9 Pie.
Nokia phone launched in 2017 were not part of Android One program, but HMD global still made managed to offer timely updates. Nokia 3 with Android 9 Pie will get new features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, Digital Wellbeing and more.
Nokia 3 users can manually check for updates by going to the Settings and Software updates. The phone comes with a 5-inch HD LCD display and comes powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 2GB RAM. It gets an 8-megapixel camera both front as well as back and houses a 2,630mAh battery as well. The Nokia 3 has been discontinued in India, but existing users will be delighted to see the latest Android 9 Pie update on their phones.
