New Nokia 106 feature phone with long battery life launched in India at Rs 1299

HMD Global has launched the Nokia 106 feature phone in India. The phone is available on the official website and other offline retailers. Nokia had also launched the Nokia 8110 4G Banana phone, last year in October under the feature phone segment. The Nokia 106 (2018) is said to deliver up to 21 days of standby time, i.e 15 hours of talk time on a single charge.

Nokia 106 specifications and features

The Nokia 106 comes with a 1.8-inch QQVGA (160x120 pixels) TFT display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6261D processor, backed with 4MB RAM. It has a  4-way Navi Key and houses an 800mAh battery that offers 15.7 hours of talk time. It comes with a Micro-USB port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also has FM radio along with LED flashlight.

The new Nokia 106 gets a polycarbonate body, contoured design and measures 111.15 x 49.5 x 14.4 mm in dimensions, weighing at 70.2 g. It has the classic Snake Xenzia. Other try-and-buy games include Danger Dash, Nitro Racing, Tetris and more. The phone also comes with 2000 contacts and 500 text messages. The Nokia 106 (2018) will be available in the Dark Grey colour option and is priced at Rs 1,299.
