New HUAWEI Watch GT Active and Huawei Watch GT Elegant announced
Huawei has introduced the new edition of the HUAWEI Watch GT Active and Elegant Editions. Both the Watch GT Active and Elegant Editions come with improved design along with new bezel pattern. The Huawei Elegant Edition comes with a smaller battery that offers 7 days of battery in normal use and 14 days of battery while receiving call notifications and messages with heart rate monitoring turned off and 10 hours of usage while doing continuous exercise with GPS and heart rate monitoring on. Both the watches come with HUAWEI TruSleep 2.0, HUAWEI TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring and more.
The watches come with a Triathlon mode that can help in recording the complete data via triathlon activity that includes cycling, swimming and running as well as activity transitions that will be available via OTA update.
HUAWEI Watch GT Active Edition specifications
The HUAWEI Watch GT Active comes with a 1.39 inch AMOLED touch display with 326 PPI and 454 x 454 pixels. It comes with Bluetooth 4.2 that can connect to phones running Android 4.4 and above along with iOS 9.0 and above devices. It gets 5ATM water-resistance with up to 50 meters and GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO. The watch gets 3D distance, Altitude barometer compass and comes with features for climbing and trail running. It measures 46.5 x 46.5 x 10.6 mm in terms if dimensions and gets an optical heart rate sensor with up to 14 days.
HUAWEI Watch GT Elegant Edition specifications
The HUAWEI Watch GT Elegant Edition comes with a 1.2-inch AMOLED touch display with 390 x 390 pixels and comes with Bluetooth 4.2 that helps the device connect with Android 4.4 and above as well as iOS 9.0 devices. The watch comes with 5ATM Water-resistance with up to 50 meters along with GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO. It gets 3D distance, Altitude barometer and compass along with other features like climbing and trail running. The watch measures 42.8 x 42.8 x 10.5 mm in dimensions and comes with an optical heart rate sensor with approx. 7 days of battery life.
The HUAWEI Watch GT Elegant is priced at 229 Euros (Rs 17,765 approx.) and the HUAWEI Watch GT Active is priced at 249 Euros (Rs 19,320 approx.). The HUAWEI Watch GT Elegant will be available in Magic Pearl White and Tahitian Magic Black Pearl colours with black and white Fluoroelastomer straps and the HUAWEI Watch GT Active will be available in Dark Green and Orange with matching Fluoroelastomer straps.
