Montblanc unveils the Summit 2, its first-ever smartwatch powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100. The watch comes with always-on mode and a longer battery life. The smartwatch features a rotating crown, placed on the right edge that accompanies two buttons, which can be programmed to launch a number of apps.

The Montblanc Summit 2 sports a 1.2-inches AMOLED display with 327 PPI, which is protected by a sapphire crystal and packs 42mm case. The rear side of the dial features glass, steel and resin with a heart rate sensor as well as magnetic charging pins. The smartwatch is being offered in interchangeable straps that include leather, nylon, and Milanese.
The internals of the watch include 1GB RAM and has 8GB of storage. It features NFC for Google Pay, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Wi-Fi. The QC1110 ultra-low-power co-processor that handles the display and sensor co-processing to give a full day battery life and an extra 4-5 days of usability in watch-mode.
The smartwatch runs on Android Wear 2.1 OS and comes equipped with some built-in apps that include a travel companion called Timeshifter, Travel Info with currency, tax and a Running Coach app. The Montblanc Summit 2 price is $995 (Rs.73,157 approx.) and comes in black, bicolor and stainless steel with leather or nylon bands, whereas the Summit 2 Titanium Sport Edition price is $1095 (Rs. 80,509 approx.).
