Meizu has re-entered the Indian smartphone market by launching three new smartphones in the country. Meizu 16th is the top-end flagship smartphone, whereas the Meizu M6T and C9 are the company's budget phones.

Meizu M16th, M6T, and C9 Specifications
The Meizu M16th sports a 6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and has an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC backed with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be expandable using a microSD card. The Meizu M16th features a water cooling system found in gaming phones and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor that can unlock in just 0.25 seconds. It comes with a dual camera setup that includes a 12 Megapixel primary Sony IMX380 sensor and a 20 Megapixel telephoto sensor at the back. The camera features a 4-axis OIS and comes with AI integration. Towards the front is a 20 Megapixel sensor that supports AI beautification mode. It houses a 3010mAh battery that can deliver 10 full-day standby and support fast charging that can juice up the battery by 67 per cent in 30 minutes.
The second phone is the Meizu M6T that is touted to be the young-centric smartphone that comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ display featuring 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the Meizu M6T is the MediaTek MT6750 processor that comes paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage that can be expanded to 128GB using a microSD card. For cameras, the phone comes with a combination of 13 Megapixel and 2 Megapixel sensors at the back with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Towards the front is the 8 Megapixel sensor for clicking selfies. The Meizu M6T houses a 3300mAh battery placed under the hood.
The third phone is the Meizu C9 that is placed for the entry-level market. It sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powering this phone is the octa-core 9832E processor developed by Unisoc. The phone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded to 128GB using the microSD card. It runs stock Android Oreo and comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 Megapixel front camera. It features Face ID that is powered by Unisoc’s processor. It houses a 3000mAh battery and the company says that this battery can last longer than the other phones in the same category.
Apart from the phones, Meizu also announced two wireless earphones sets called the Meizu POP and Meizu EP52 Lite. The Meizu POP earphones are ‘True Wireless’ and can connect seamlessly with the smartphones. These earphones come with wireless charging and get 15 hours of battery backup.
The Meizu EP52 Lite comes with IPX5 certification and gets 200-hours of standby with Quick Charge support.
Meizu M16th, M6T, and C9 Price
The Meizu M16th price in India is Rs 39,999, the Meizu M6T price in India is Rs 7,999, and the C9 price in India is Rs 5,999. All the three smartphones will be an Amazon exclusively.
The Meizu C9 will come with a discount of Rs 1,000 at Rs 4,999 for a limited time period. The phone will go on sale on Wednesday, December 5, whereas the availability for the other two smartphones has not been revealed.
The Meizu POP price in India is Rs 6,999 and the EP52 Lite price in India is Rs 1,999.
For offers, Jio customers will get a cashback of Rs 2,200, with 100GB extra data on M16th. The M6T and C9 will offer the same cashback benefits with 50GB additional data. The Meizu C9 will be sold in the offline markets across the country via Reliance partners.
