Apple will be hosting another event on 30th October where the company will be announcing the new iPad Pro and new MacBook models. The new iPad Pro (2018) is expected to come with a new design which means, we could expect slim bezels with Face ID and will most likely won't include the Touch ID. Note that 9to5Mac has discovered an icon within iOS, which gives an idea what the new iPad could look like.
Looking at it seems as the iPad would come with rounded display corners and slim bezels, with no sign of Home Button through which we could expect that the new iPad will feature gesture-based controls, same as seen on the new iPhones. With the Home Button gone, the new iPad would be coming with the Face ID. There could be a sensor on the top bezel for Apple's facial recognition. Looking at the image, one can spot the button placed towards the right side that probably could be the locks and unlocks the button along with other two buttons on the right side, which could be the control volumes.
Reports suggest that the iPad Pro (2018) will come in two screen sizes of 10.5 inch and 12.9 inches and might replace the lightning charge with USB Type-C port.
The new iPad Pro (2018) is expected to come with A12 or A12X chipset and might be shipped with LCD panels. The A12 Bionic chipset were used in phones like iPhone XS, XS Max and XR that is based on the 7nm process, which offers 15 per cent better performance and consumes 50 percent less power.
