Huawei has announced the new Huawei Y9 (2019). This device will be the successor to the Huawei Y9 (2018). The 2019 model was first surfaced on TENAA, the Chinese certification site, but now is official. The new model will come with better specifications and features, compared to the outgoing model. Huawei has gone and confirmed that the phone will be coming to the market, coming mid-October, but the prices for the same are not disclosed yet.
The company says that the new Huawei Y9 is aimed at the young generation who likes gaming, photography and entertainment. Huawei Y9 (2019) could also be launched as Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus in China, similar to what was done with Huawei Y9 (2018) that got launched in China under Enjoy 8 Plus name tag. Evan Blass, the famous tipster too has leaked some of the specifications of the Enjoy 9 Plus in a tweet.
Huawei Y9 2019 specifications
The Huawei Y9 (2019) specifications comprise of a 6.5-inch FullView Display with a 3D curved design. Powering the phone is a Kirin 710 processor, backed with AI Power. For optics, the Huawei Y9 dual camera includes a 13MP camera along with a 2MP sensor. On the front is also a 16MP and a 2MP sensor. Both the front and back come with AI features.
Huawei has also implimented the device with Fingerprint 4.0 identification technology that unlocks the device in 0.3 seconds and can also be used as a fingerprint navigation that can be used for managing the notifications.
