Huawei launched its new smartphone in China on Monday called the Huawei Nova 4. The biggest highlight of the phone is its front camera setup placed inside the display. Other features include a 48 Megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor, which is a part of the triple rear camera setup. The phone will be going up for pre-orders and will be made available later this month.

Huawei Nova 4 specifications
The Huawei Nova 4 sports a 6.4-inch (2310 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ curved glass display with 96 per cent NTSC Color Gamut. It gets dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs on EMUI 9.0.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Powering the phone is the Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 10nm processor with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, i7 co-processor, NPU and GPU Turbo, along with 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage.
For optics, the phone comes in two variants that include a triple rear camera set up at the back, with 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a 20 Megapixel primary sensor. Other than the primary sensor, the phone comes with a 16 Megapixel 117-degree ultra-wide angle camera with a f/2.2 aperture and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor with a f/2.4 aperture, backed with a single LED flash. The company claims that the phone will come with EIS, AI beauty, 4K video support, PDAF and contrast focus on the rear camera.
Towards the front is a 25 Megapixel front camera with a f/2.0 aperture, with EIS functionality placed in the display hole. For connectivity, the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C (v2.0), GPS/ A-GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack. Other sensors in the phone include an accelerometer, digital compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope. It gets a fingerprint sensor at the back and has face unlock feature as well. It houses a 3,750mAh battery that comes with fast charging.
Huawei Nova 4 price
The Huawei Nova 4 price is CNY 3,399 (Rs 35,300 approx.) for the 48 Megapixel rear camera version and CNY 3,099 (Rs 32,200 approx.) for the 20 Megapixel version. Both the variants are up for pre-orders via Huawei's Vmall e-commerce site and will be going on sale on 27th December. The phone will be available in colour options of Blue, Black, Red and White.
