Honor has launched its new smartphone called the Honor V20 in China. This is the company's latest top-end smartphone that comes in the 'V series' and features a punch-hole selfie camera design similar to Huawei Nova 4. It comes with a TOF 3D secondary rear camera that lets users play games using 3D gesture recognition by capturing body movement.

Honor V20 specifications
The Honor V20 comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+TFT LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 16.7 million colours, 91.82 per cent screen-to-body ratio, and 398ppi pixel density. The phone is powered by the latest 7nm octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM options, offered in 128GB and 256GB storage. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box based on MagicUI 2.0.1 and gets dual-SIM.
For cameras, the phone comes with a 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 960fps slow-motion video recording support, autofocus, AI HDR, and LED flash support. It comes with a secondary 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor that captures the depth of an image and is also used for slimming subjects and also creating a 3D avatar of users. Towards the front is a 25 Megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus support. Other camera features include AI photo, night scene, portrait, fun AR, time-lapse photography, slow-motion, and more.
It houses a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support and comes with a Link Turbo technology that lets the phone to switch between data and Wi-Fi, for an unaffected browsing experience. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and more.
Honor V20 price
The Honor V20 is priced at CNY 2,999 (Rs 30,400 approx.) for the 6GB RAM/128GB variant that goes up to CNY 3,499 (Rs 35,500 approx.) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage option. The phone comes in colour options of Charm Blue, Red, and Midnight Black. The Honor V20 is up for pre-orders on Tmall, Vmall, Jingdong, Sunning.com, and more. The shipping of the phone will begin from 28th December.
The Honor V20 will be introduced globally on 22nd January as View20 at an event in Paris, France.
