Google announced new features for its upcoming Android Q operating system that will focus on privacy and Digital Wellbeing. The Android Q will include features like Dark Mode, dedicated Privacy section and Focus mode that aids in disabling apps by which users get distracted.
With the technology trends shifting to foldable smartphones, the Android Q will support different screen dimension UI and will also come with a voice-based feature, like Live Caption.

Dark Theme support
Android Q will come with Dark Theme support that has been the most awaited feature for Android that can be enabled via the Quick Settings menu or by switching on the battery saver on. This theme is easy on the eyes and also saves the battery life.
Foldable display support
With Android Q, Google has included support for features like multitasking on foldable phones, app continuity and more. It has been designed to adapt to different screen size for foldable displays. Companies like Samsung and Huawei have already unveiled their foldable phones, while Xiaomi and Motorola too will be launching their prospective products soon.
Focus Mode
Android Q comes with Focus mode that is built on Digital Wellbeing, that lets users temporarily disable apps that distract, like silencing email app, news and more.

Android Q will also get more focus on privacy with over 50 features that offer users quick access to privacy settings.
