Google unveils the Google Home Hub with Google Assistant built-in. It allows users to use your voice to Search, Google Photos, YouTube, Calendar, Maps and more. It sports a 7-inch touchscreen display that fit right into your home.
It doesn’t come with a camera and has an ambient EQ light sensor on top. The screen automatically adjusts to match the lighting in the room and with Routines, Hub helps in providing useful information about the day ahead and comes with ‘Voice Match’ where six people in the house can get their own personalized Routine.
It lets you control 10,000+ types of smart home devices from 1,000+ popular brands and also set it up as a photo frame that automatically refreshes the photos that are displayed. The Home Hub also supports music from Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio and more.
It can set alarms, turn off compatible lights and TVs and lock the front door. Google is offering six months of YouTube Premium on the purchase of Home Hub. The Google Hub will be available in Aqua, Sand, Chalk and Charcoal colours and is priced at $149. The Google Hub is up for pre-order from Google Store online and will go on sale from 22nd October in the US.
