Google adds a new 'Translate' feature on the third party keyboard for iOS that will allow users to type and translate text in different languages. It gets support for 103 languages.
According to an Engadget report on Friday, the Google Translate on Gboard keyboard version 1.42 is available on iPhone as well as iPads that are running on iOS9 or above.
The report said, "As you type, you'll find the translation in the suggestion strip or by pressing the Google button. The app automatically detects the language you're typing or pasting text in and lets you then select which language you want to translate to".
The Gboard Translate feature was available on Android since 2017 and the feature was overdue on iOS users.
The report added, "Google has been steadily adding languages to Google Translate, and we can expect the feature to continue to grow on iOS".
As if now, Google Gboard has support for 685 languages for typing.
