Asus has started rolling out new updates on the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2. The update includes a touch firmware upgrade along with improvements to the front camera and improved display in the status bar. The FOTA version - 15.2016.1902.192 also offers updated Google Security patch to February’19.

The Zenfone Max M2, on the other hand, gets Google Mobile Services (GMS) upgrade. The FOTA version - 15.2016.1902.159 update offers Google Security patch to February’19 on the phone.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS display with 2280×1080 pixel resolution and comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes in three configurations of 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM options.
It has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 12 Megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary camera 5 Megapixel depth sensor. On the front would be a 13 Megapixel camera for selfies with LED flash. It comes with a rear fingerprint sensor and the phone also supports face unlocking. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box and has a big 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging.
Asus Zenfone Max M2
The Asus Zenfone Max M2 gets a 6.3-inch frameless screen with HD+ 1520 x 720 pixels resolutions. Powering the phone is an Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm CPU backed with Adreno 506 GPU. It gets a dual rear camera setup with a 13 Megapixel main camera sensor along with LED flash and a 2 Megapixel secondary camera. Towards the front is an 8 Megapixel camera with a LED flash.
The update will be released in batches and will be rolled out to all devices soon. Note that this update is for the stable version and not Android Pie Beta.
