Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Max Pro M2 and Max M2 Android 9.0 (Pie) update, set to roll out by April 15
Asus, back in December had confirmed the Android Pie update for Zenfone 5Z and Max Pro M2 to get Pie update in January and the Max Pro M1 would get it in February, but it was only the Zenfone 5Z that got the Pie update in January, whereas the other phones are yet to receive the update.
The company has now confirmed that both the phones along with the Zenfone Max M2 will get an update by 15th April.
The company has taken note of the delay and apologised for missing its initial deadline of the Android Pie update. Asus earlier last month released the Android Pie beta update for the Zenfone Max Pro M2 and the Zenfone Max Pro M1 too got the Android Pie beta update. Asus hasn't started the Pie beta update. The update will be rolled out in coming weeks on the Asus smartphones.
