ASUS to launch two new smartphones in India on October 17 exclusively on Flipkart

ASUS has sent out invites for its upcoming smartphone that is set to launch on 17th October. The upcoming event could see the launch of two new smartphones. The new devices are set to be exclusive to Flipkart and would be the global first launch in India.

The teaser image of the Asus invite shows the smartphone, which presumably looks like a phone that would have curved corners. There isn't any other detail in context to the new smartphone, so far.

Asus had launched the ZenFone Max Pro M1 way back in May in India, which was made to take on the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Mi A1. The company had also The ZenFone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch 1080p+ display and powers on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. The outstanding fact of the phone is the massive 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging and is claimed to deliver 34.1 days of 4G standby, 25.3 hours of 1080p video playback and almost 35 hours of 3G talk-time.

Note that the Zenfone Max Pro M1 and the Zenfone 5Z, both have received a tremendous response in India and were up for sale on Flipkart's Big Billion Days offer.
