Amazon has started taking the pre-orders for the new Amazon Fire TV Stick with the new Alexa Voice Remote and will be going on sale via Amazon.in and Amazon.com starting 23rd January.

Amazon Fire TV Stick gets an upgrade, now gets an all-new Alexa Voice Remote

Amazon Fire TV Stick has received a new upgrade and now comes with the all-new Alexa Voice Remote. This comes months after Amazon had brought the Fire TV Stick 4K with new Alexa Voice Remote. The new Alexa Voice Remote lets users use Alexa skills directly by using the voice. The new Alexa Voice Remote also comes with a combined Bluetooth and multidirectional infrared (IR) technology, along with a proprietary cloud-based service from Amazon. This will allow the users to control the TV and Fire TV Stick simultaneously. With these users won't have to use the native remote controller of your TV.

The new Amazon Fire TV Stick with the new Alexa Voice Remote comes at Rs 3,999 ($39.99 in the US). Amazon has started taking the pre-orders for the new offering and will be going on sale via Amazon.in and Amazon.com starting 23rd January.

The new Alexa Voice allows users to use Alexa skills that lets them view live camera feeds, order food, check sports scores, book a cab, or listen to songs with the help of your voice.

In case you love a particular genre of movies, one can say 'Alexa, find sports, to watch sports content on the TV. The Alexa Voice Remote comes with a dedicated power, volume, and mute button that allows users to control the TV, soundbar, or other AV equipment.

Other than Alexa integration, the new Fire TV Stick comes with  Firefox or Silk browsers that allow users to visit websites like Facebook and YouTube, along with access to services like  Amazon Prime Music, Gaana, Saavn and TuneIn.
