Xiaomi is on a streak of cutting prices on its budget smartphones. The company recently has cut prices across many phones that includes Mi A2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi Y2. Now the company has reduced the price of the Redmi 6 in India with the 3GB+32GB storage version selling back its original price of Rs 7999, after a price hike of Rs 500 and the 64GB version selling at Rs 8999, after receiving a Rs 500 price cut. The phone will be available at new rates on Mi.com, Flipkart and other offline stores.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 specifications
Geeting on with the specs, the Redmi 6 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 80.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor. The phone runs on MIUI on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo). The phone packs a 12 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5 Megapixel secondary camera for AI portrait shots. Towards the front is a 5 Megapixel front camera with face unlock and AI portrait, along with other features like AI beautify.
The phone comes with a polycarbonate back panel that features a brushed metal-like finish and has a dedicated fingerprint sensor at the back. The phone houses a 3000mAh battery and comes with a dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slot with Dual 4G VoLTE support.
