After the success of OnePlus 5, the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the OnePlus 5T in November this year.
According to reports, the OnePlus 5T is likely to come with some big upgrades, including a 6-inch screen with 2160 x 1080p resolution, thereby making it an 18:9 smartphone for better visual experience, GizmoChina reported on Monday.
The front of the device seems to have taken a cue from the Samsung Galaxy S8 with narrow bezels on the top as well as the bottom and a taller-than-wider design language.
"The launch is said to be around early November so there isn't a lot of time left for its official unveiling of the device," the report added.
OnePlus did a similar thing in 2016 by releasing OnePlus 3T barely five months after introducing OnePlus 3.
OnePlus 5 with dual rear cameras was launched in India in June in two variants -- 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage for Rs 32,999 and Rs 37,999, respectively.
The device houses 16MP+20MP rear dual-camera combination and 16MP front shooter.
Smartphones with 18:9 aspect ratio or edge-to-edge displays are a rage now and China-based Vivo also introduced a 18:9 aspect ratio flagship device in September.
