Music maestro A.R. Rahman has become the first Indian celebrity to feature on a promotional material of Apple. The company's latest campaign 'Selfies on iPhone X' has gone live and we can see Rahman on hoardings across the country.
The music legend likes to take selfies while travelling. Besides Apple's campaign, Rahman was also a big face of the show at Intel’s 2016 CES keynote The iPhone X features Portrait Selfie option and the composer says it is really simple to use. ''Just reflect what you want others to feel… and make sure your face flirts with the light source.'' The portrait mode adds a depth-of-field effect and brings the face in focus by blurring the background.
In an interview to indianexpress.com, A R Rahman revealed his thoughts about portrait selfies. He said that portrait selfies bring studio kind of quality to photos and this is what appeals him the most. ''What I really like about it is it brings a studio kind of quality to your photos - taking beautifully detailed pictures in super flattering light. Bonus points for not having to actually set up a studio to get that professional quality. Stage Light Mono black and white adds a cool drama don’t you think?” he said.
There are five different portrait selfies mode- Natural light, studio light, contour light, stage light and stage light mono.
