Twitter Down for many users, widespread issues reported
Many users across several countries have reported that the microblogging website wasn't working. People have taken to social media to express ongoing issues and outages. According to website Down Detector, 57% Andrid app users, 15% iOS app users reported outage while 27% website users experienced issues while tweeting or checking timeline.
Outage reported from some parts of Brazil, southern Australia, Japan, parts of India, UK, France, US and Canada.
On Wednesday, Twitter co-founder and chief executive Jack Dorsey he was committing $1 billion (roughly Rs. 7,600 crores) of his personal fortune to coronavirus relief through his philanthropic fund.
Dorsey said in a series of tweets that he would transfer his equity in his digital payments group Square to his limited liability corporation Start Small, contributing around 28 percent of his overall wealth.
