Indore: Tennis ace Sania Mirza today said that she was writing her autobiography but has not yet made up her mind when to release it.
“I have already written 26 chapters of my autobiography, but life is moving on everyday on a continuous basis. So, new chapters are being added to it. Now I have to take a call on when to complete it and also when to release it,” said Sania Mirza who was here to attend an event at a girls' college.
“Lot of things are written about me which is partly true and partly false. Therefore, I wish want to tell my story on my own. I am also penning my autobiography, so that my viewpoint reaches the people,” she told reporters.
Referring to the controversies mentioned in Sachin Tendulkar's autobiography, ‘Playing it My Way', Sania defended the cricket legend, saying, “We don't include controversies for selling books and Sachin will never do such a thing”.
Speaking about her decision on not playing singles matches, she said that she had to undergo three surgeries during five years, which forced her to stay away from singles matches since the last two years.
Sania also said that she has launched a Sania Mirza Tennis Academy in Hyderabad as part of her contribution to the game, adding that she has no plans to act in a movie.
