Melbourne, Jan 18: French Open champion Li Na has become the first women through to the third round at the Australian Open after beating Olivia Rogowska 6-2, 6-2 in just over an hour at Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday.
Li, who became the first Chinese player to win a Grand Slam singles title when she beat Francesca Schiavone in last year's French Open final, will next play the winner of the second-round match between Anabel Medina Garrigues and Olga Govortsova in the third round.
