Melbourne: India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek were knocked out of the Australian Open men's doubles with a straight set loss to Michael Llodra and Nicholas Mahut in the quarterfinals at the Melbourne Park Wednesday.

The Indo-Czech pair, who were seeded fifth, went down 2-6, 6-7 to the 13th seeded French duo.
