Melbourne: Scottish tennis ace Andy Murray has questioned World No.1 Novak Djokovic's dramatic body language after the 27-year-old came back from a ‘physical crisis' to win the Australian Open men's singles title for a record fifth time.

Reacting to a fourth successive final loss at the Rod Laver Arena, the Scot said he was "distracted" by Djokovic as the Serb struggled after the second set.

"The third set was frustrating because I got a bit distracted when he, like, fell on the ground after a couple of shots," Murray was quoted as saying by news.com.au, Monday.

“It appeared that he was cramping, and then I let that distract me a little bit. That's what I'm most disappointed about.”

Asked if it is a legitimate tactic for an opponent to fake injury and then recover as spectacularly as Djokovic did, Murray said: “No, it's not legitimate.”

“I have no idea what the issue was, he obviously looked like he was in quite a bad way at the beginning of the third set and came back unbelievable at the end of that set,” added Murray.

“I would hope that wouldn't be the case (faking the injury).”
