Birmingham, England: West Bromwich Albion overcame a slow start and a poor run of form at The Hawthorns to beat Swansea 2-0 in the Premier League Wednesday.
The visitors dominated possession in the first half, but could not find the breakthrough and West Brom made them pay for their profligacy in the second.
Forward Brown Ideye opened the scoring with a right-footed shot from the center of the box on the hour mark. Ideye then turned provider in the 74th when he set up fellow striker Saido Berahino for a right-footed strike from close range.
West Brom's six home defeats in the Premier League was tied for the most in the top flight coming into the midweek round of fixtures. The victory was just the Baggies' third in 15 league games.
