Swansea (Wales), Aug 25: Swansea recorded a 3-0 victory against West Ham with an impressive display Saturday in its first home game of the Premier League season.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 20th minute through defender Angel Rangel, his low shot across West Ham's goal deflecting off the body of goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, who failed to get down quickly enough to save the attempt.
West Ham defender James Collins was at fault for the second goal nine minutes later, his pass back to Jaaskelainen hitting his standing foot before offseason signing Michu ran onto the ball and doubled Swansea's lead with his third goal of the season.
Striker Danny Graham completed the scoring for Michael Laudrup's side in the 64th minute, finishing from close range from Wayne Routledge's cross.
