Monaco, Jul 8: Monaco has signed France midfielder Jeremy Toulalan from Malaga as part of its ongoing squad overhaul ahead of its return to France's topflight.
Monaco says on its website that Toulalan has agreed to a two-year contract with an option of a third year.
The 29-year-old Toulalan was with Malaga for the last two seasons, helping it qualify for the Champions League for the first time.
Previously, he won the French league twice with Lyon.
Neither club disclosed the financial details of the deal.
Monaco, promoted last season, has signed striker Radamel Falcao, Porto pair James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho, and defender Ricardo Carvalho.
Malaga has also sold Francisco “Isco” Alarcon and Joaquin Sanchez this summer.
