Berlin, Nov 5: Anthony Ujah scored twice as Mainz came from a goal down to beat Stuttgart 3-1 on Friday and end its nine-game winless run in the Bundesliga.
Stuttgart striker Cacau scored in the 50th minute, but Ujah equalized three minutes later when Elkin Soto crossed for him to head his first Bundesliga goal.
The 21-year-old Nigerian scored his second in the 64th, four minutes after a penalty converted by Andreas Ivanschitz had put Mainz ahead.
Mainz midfielder Eugen Polanski was sent off for tackling Christoph Hemlein from behind in the 83rd, and Stuttgart defender Maza earned a second yellow card after the game for protesting.
Mainz remains 15th after its first Bundesliga win since Aug. 13, while Stuttgart is sixth ahead of the weekend's games.
