Pescara (Italy), Mar 4: Last-place Pescara has fired Cristiano Bergodi following a 1-0 loss at home to Udinese.
Club president Daniele Sebastiani made the announcement Sunday on the day of the match. Pescara is tied for last with Siena and Palermo.
Youth club coach Cristian Bucchi will reportedly take over. Bergodi was hired in November after Giovanni Stroppa resigned.
Having won Serie B last season under Zdenek Zeman, Pescara has won only six of 27 matches, losing 18, with 11 rounds remaining this campaign.
