Ukraine, Jun 10: Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hoping Sweden's new attacking philosophy can take Ukraine and anyone watching by surprise Monday.
The opener against the co-host will be Sweden's first tournament game under coach Erik Hamren.
Ibrahimovic said Sunday that “this is not the traditional Swedish way of playing,” and that Hamren has brought in “some new ideas” to the usually defensive-minded Swedish team.
Ibrahimovic acknowledged that “I feel a lot of pressure” as Sweden's only major star, but that he thrives under big expectations.
Sweden worked out at the Olympic Stadium for the first time Sunday before Monday's game against Ukraine.
