Mexico City, Nov 17: Miguel Herrera became the new coach of Mexican club America, replacing Alfredo Tena on Wednesday.
Herrera moved from Mexican club Atlante to be the fourth America coach in a year.
America, which has not won a league title since 2005, failed to reach this season's Apertura playoffs, which prompted the change along with the arrival of new club president Ricardo Pelaez.
