Paris: Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss French champion Paris Saint-Germain's match at Caen on Wednesday because of a left heel injury. Tests on Tuesday revealed that Ibrahimovic, the club's leading scorer with five league goals, needs at least two days of rest.
PSG has a busy schedule and will need him to be fit for the match at Toulouse on Saturday and at home to Lionel Messi's Barcelona in the Champions League three days later.
PSG has drawn its last three matches 1-1 and Ibrahimovic has not scored in those games. Altogether, PSG has drawn five of seven matches this season -- including a lackluster 1-1 draw at Ajax last week -- and sits in fifth place in the French league.
PSG is also without midfielder Marco Verratti, who is suspended.
