Glasgow, Scotland,Aug 2: Hearts has been punished with another transfer embargo after the Scottish Premier League club went into administration.
A Scottish FA disciplinary tribunal ruled that Hearts cannot sign any new players aged 21 and over until Feb. 1.
Hearts was handed a 15-point deduction and an automatic registration embargo when it went into administration on June 19.
Joint-administrator Trevor Birch was disappointed with the ruling and says “it feels like we're being penalized twice.”
Hearts has only two outfield players aged over 21 and will now not be able to bring in more experienced players if it exits administration before the end of the January transfer window.
Hearts owes almost >29million ($44million) to its creditors.
