Carson, California, Nov 7: Mike Magee scored from a David Beckham pass in the 58th minute, and Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane also scored as the Los Angeles Galaxy advanced to the Major League Soccer final with a 3-1 victory over Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference title match Sunday.
Los Angeles advanced to face the Houston Dynamo in the MLS title match on Nov. 20 at Carson, California, where the Galaxy haven't lost all year.
Andre Hainault and Carlo Costly scored in the second half to lead Houston over Sporting Kansas City 2-0 earlier Sunday in the Eastern Conference final.
Beckham will play for his first MLS title in the final game of his five-year contract with the Galaxy. His spectacular crossing pass set up Magee's third goal of the postseason for Los Angeles, which advanced to its record seventh MLS title game.
Alvaro Saborio scored for Salt Lake, which beat Los Angeles in the 2009 MLS Cup.
