Copenhagen, Sept 4: Norway will try to keep up the pressure on group leader Portugal when it travels to Denmark on Tuesday for a European Championship qualifier that could have a decisive effect in the tight Group H.
Norway is level with Portugal on 13 points from six games after a surprisingly strong qualifying campaign, and could deal a big blow to its Scandinavian neighbor with a victory in Copenhagen.
The Danes have 10 points with a game in hand but can hardly afford a loss on Tuesday as it still has to face Portugal in October. Norway's only remaining game is at home against Cyprus.
Portugal is off this week, with the group's only other game featuring Iceland against Cyprus in a battle to avoid last place. AP
