Panaji, Jun 3: With two of their foreign players-Roberto Silva and Kalu Nnnna Ogba signing for Churchill Brothers and Mohun Bagan respectively, Dempo coach Armando Colaco has roped in Vasco SC striker Koko Sakibo and Joy Ferrao besides Rowilson Rodrigues from Churchill to play for the squad in the upcoming season.
“We have signed Joy and Koko,” the coach said when asked about his new signings for the coming term.“Rowilson has also signed for us, he said. Colaco who took bold steps in injecting young blood in the probables list of players to select the National squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against UAE, ignored many senior players and wants to have more young and capable players in his team inorder to keep check on senior players.
“I am thinking of another young player and nine of our junior team players will get promoted to the senior team,” he said. PTI
