Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sept 12: Boca Juniors moved into sole possession of first place in Argentina's Apertura tournament by beating San Martin 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a 75th-minute goal from Walter Erviti.
Boca improved to 14 points from six games, one ahead of Rafaela.
Lanus could move even on points with Boca with a victory in its Monday game against Argentinos Juniors.
In other results on Sunday, Arsenal defeated Banfield 1-0, Belgrano beat Independiente 2-0 and Union defeated Velez Sarsfield 1-0.
