Lisbon (Portugal), Mar 12: Benfica came from behind to beat Pacos Ferreira 2-1 and reclaim second place in the Portuguese league on Sunday.
Striker Michel Souza put the hosts ahead in the 28th with a left-footed shot.
Nicolas Gaitan leveled for Benfica in the 63rd from a pass by Nelson Oliveira, and Bruno Cesar scored from a free kick to grab the winner five minutes later.
Pacos Ferreira finished with nine men after Michel received his second booking in the 77th and Ricardo Pinto was show a direct red in the 88th.
Benfica's first win in four rounds closed the gap on leader FC Porto to one point.
