London, Jul 11: Arsenal says it has agreed to sign Gervinho from Lille, with the Ivory Coast striker set to complete his move subject to approval from the Football Association and Premier League.
Arsenal did not say how much it had paid for Gervinho, but British media widely reported that he cost about 11 million pounds ($17.5 million).
The 24-year-old forward scored 28 goals in 67 appearances over two years for Lille. AP
