Paris: Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Thursday confirmed on twitter that he is joining Manchester United after his contract with Paris Saint-German expires.
The 34-year-old wrote: "Time to let the world know. My next destination is @Manutd."
He also posted a picture of the club logo on twitter and made a similar post on his Instagram account, Xinhua reported.
The move to the English Premier League side linked up the much-travelled striker with his former manager Jose Mourinho, who coached him at Inter Milan and has just taken over at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic, who announced last month that he's leaving after four years with PSG, has scored 392 goals in 677 games since 2001, including 50 goals in 51 matches for PSG last season.
United will be the eighth club of the veteran's career, which began in 1999 with his hometown team Malmo and included spells at Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan.
Ibra declared his retirement from international football last week after Sweden's group-stage exit from Euro 2016.
