A shocking revelation in football as the Portuguese star forward and Bayern Munich attacker Renato Sanches has joined Swansea City on loan. Sanches was highly speculated to leave the club on loan as Bayern Munich manager Carlos Ancelotti wanted the star player to experience football in all forms of play. Europe giants such as Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United were favourites to land the 20-year-old but it was Ancelotti that decided where the young colt would play and that is Swansea City.

Sanches is currently in the Portugal squad for the Internation break and will link up with the team mates after the qualifiers.

Swansea manager Paul Clement likely played a big role in the move for the 20-year-old Sanches, having been an assistant coach at Bayern during the first half of last season.

Sanches will spend the remainder of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at the Liberty Stadium after just one full season with the Bundesliga giants who he joined from Benfica a year ago.

Sanches won the Young Player of the Tournament award at the European Championship last year after helping Portugal win its first major soccer title. Weeks earlier, he had joined Bayern on one of the richest contracts in Bundesliga history for a transfer fee that could climb to about $90 million.

Sanches is currently in the Portugal squad for the Internation break and will link up with the team mates after the qualifiers.

Sanches was recognised for his skills, dribbles, passes and eye for goals during his national debut for Portugal in the EURO 2016. Portugal won the EURO league for the first time. The squad was led by the 4 time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
