Harry Kane will miss Tottenham's match against Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday because of a hamstring injury.
Tottenham says the striker underwent assessment this week that showed "a minor strain to the left hamstring." The England forward and goal machine in an integral part of Spur's success lately but a defeat in the Carabao Cup to West Ham United saw the London side crash out of the tourney.
Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino says it is a "small" injury but that Kane would not be risked against United. The rivalry between the two side is well known as the Red Devils are always a top side to beat and after the Huddersfield defeat, the North London team will look to pile on more misery on Jose's side.
Pochettino says "there is no sense in taking that risk and making the problem bigger."
Second-place United and third-place Tottenham both have 20 points, five behind Manchester City after nine games. Jose's United will take on Pochettino's Spurs tomorrow October 28 at Old Trafford.
