Ace footballer Cristiano Ronaldo called himself a stand out performer after scoring twice for holders Real Madrid against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round-of-16 tie on Wednesday. Real Madrid trailed 0-1 to Adrien Rabiot's 33rd-minute strike at the Santiago Bernabeu here on Wednesday.
However, Ronaldo scored an equaliser nearing the half-time from the spot and a goal in the second-half to help his side secure a 3-1 lead in the first leg of Champions League.
The Portuguese also said it was very important for him to score in the match and he feels special when his contribution gives a positive result.
"It was very important when you score goals and the team wins, it is always special," Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Sky Sports on Wednesday.
"Today, I stood out, I helped the team to win by scoring two goals, but we know that the tie is not finished yet.
"We need to go over there and try to win and score goals to be able to ease any pressure and qualify for the next round," the 33-year-old five-time Ballon d'Or holder added.
