Daegu (South Korea), Sep 3: Usain Bolt won the men's 200 meters at the world championships on Saturday, running the fourth fastest time in history of 19.40 seconds.
Bolt, who set the world record of 19.19 at the worlds in Berlin two years ago, took the lead before coming out of the bend and never was threatened.
Walter Dix of the United States took silver in 19.70 and Christophe Lemaitre of France earned bronze in 19.80.
Bolt failed to claim a sprint double, however. In the 100 final, he was disqualified for a false start. AP
